If this is your family
In the first note, your name, a way to reach you, and which season you are in is enough. You do not have to tell the whole story.
If you know a family
A pastor, a neighbor, a friend — that is often how we first hear. We do not arrive uninvited.
Tell us your name, how you know them, and whether they know you are writing. Do not send their whole story. We will not use your note to surprise a family.
